ipod fund

So, yesterday was my birthday. Everyone asked me what I wanted and stuff, so I told them. I want an iPod. Everyone freaked out.. I want to get you one I really do but I don't have that type of money. So my idea was for them to donate money to my iPod fund. IT WORKED!!!! I got enough money to buy a reconditioned iPod mini silver from apple. Already apple has processed the order and given me a Fed Ex number. I am sooooo happy. So if you want to follow the shipping process with me just click on my Fed Ex number here 9611808047655674769664.

happy friday

Happy friday everyone. Tomorrow is my birthday. I will be 30, and I am depressed about it. Not cause I am 30 but because I am re-evaluating my life and it is just sad. So to cheer me up someone sent me this link to a little thing about men in coats. I enjoyed it so much I thought that you would as well... enjoy. (link)

Firfox-Site-Update

Everything seems to be working fine. According to one of my earlier posts things were broken in IE and possibly other browsers. Well seems that I can't read instructions and put some code in twice. Once removed everything is working fine. I changed some font colors so that things are easier to read and now I have a finished product I am proud of. I am debating on what else to put in here. I am sure there are hundreds of things to add but just what will suite this site is still up in the air. Look for some add-ons, but hopefully everything else will stay the same.
Chris, OUT!

Press On

You know yesterday we talked a tad about the race and perserverance. Today's verse of the day is interesting to me. Philippians 3:14 "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Wow, two days in a row talking about pressing on.. winning the race.. Yesterday we threw off sin to win the race... now we are pressing on. Dude... this is going to be a hard road to go down. We have to perservere. We have to press on.. For the prize!!! This isn't for nothing. We are to win the prize! The prize that God has called us heavenward to!
Press on my friend. Press on.

run the race

Man I am really diggin this brutalness in Hebrews. Today the verse of the day was from Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." First of all picture us being surrounded by a cloud of witnesses. This means to me that the witnesses are everywhere. Then they take it much deeper. "let us throw off everything that hinders AND the sin that so easily entangles". Dude, get rid of your sin! Stop doing those things that causes you to get entangled and fall. Stop doing those things that hinders you. Wow. That is a deep statement. If you literally follow this then you would have to even quit your job if that is what is hindering you. Then, "and let us run with perserverance the race marked our for us". The first thing that strikes me here is that the race is not what we have decided, it is marked out for us. Someone has made this course up for us. He knows the beginning and the end. And He knows who is going to win. We need to perservere. When ever I hear this word, perservere, I know things aren't going to be easy. I worked for a man one summer who had me doing ton's of yard work. His statement to me was "perserverance always wins the race". The look in this mans eyes when I had gotten a pretty hard task done was worth it all to me. I can see God in this passage saying the same thing. Dude, this isn't going to be easy, not at all, but if you perservere you will win the race.
We men try to show off. "Hey mom look no hands." Or, "Watch me do this dive!" We are surrounded by people watching our every moves. I know I am, and they are not afraid to say it. These people witness my every move. And let me tell you... those moves have been crummy lately. I am not winning this race. But I am going to run like I am now.

faith

This morning I hopped online to just check things out... I updated the verse of the day from bible gateway.. and this morning it caught my eye. Hebrews 11:1 "“ Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. "”. Wow, I have never heard this verse or the definition of faith being put in this light. With this said, I am so far away from faith that it isn't funny. When you pray do you believe that it will be answered. Or, better yet, do you believe that it will be heard. I think this is my problem with prayer. I am like, "what does it matter really". Dude, it matters so much that it isn't funny. Think about it. If you ask with belief that it will be answered or heard. If you are sure of what you hope for and certain of what we do not see, then how can we fail?

A blogging witness

I have often wondered if you could really use a blog to witness to someone. To share the gospel of God. It turns out that this may be more of a reality than I ever thought.
Today I was playing with a cheap quick thing that I threw up to catch my stats and stuff. To my surprise someone hit my site from typing into an msn search "what does God say about attitude". If you notice I am like the fourth link down there. How cool is that. It points to the main page of this site but is referring to an article I wrote on haunting scripture. Could it be that if I start writing about my travels down this God path that I would be fulfilling a calling from God to evangelize? I am not sure. But I am willing to start trying.

Grow your Crowder

Interesting as it is... I found this site called GrowYourCrowder.Com. I laughed... then cried then laughed some more. This site is truely histerical. Here is my crowder (Link)
