Psalm 37:24

It is a new year... and it has taken me about 12 days into this year to post something. I am sorry for that.

Though they stumble, they will not fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand. Psalm 37:24

I get this email every day from http://www.newlivingtranslation.com/ that has a nice scripture and a way that it could impact my life. Let me tell you about this one in my words. When I think of this scripture I think of my daughter. Though she is 2 1/2 and full of energy sometimes her bearings are not all there. She stumbles and falls all the time. Recently she has done it a lot. I think it is because she is going through a growth spirt. But this reminds me of her because she will be walking along and then just drop to the ground clinging to my hand. If I were not there she would shurley skin a knee or break bone or something. But she trusts that I will catch her.
This scripture tells us that even if we stumble we won't fall (like my daughter)for the LORD has us by the hand. How comforting is that?
