Christmas the Blessing
This Christmas has been much different for me. I now have a 2 and a half year old daughter named emma. She has to be the cutest. The stuff that she did this year has been a beautiful blessing to me. This year I got to take a year off playing the piano and then Dave asked me to play in an orchestra for the christmas season at Tabernacle. This year because Isaac was so young I got to do most of the Christmas shopping myself. This was kind of hectic in a way but truely rewarding at the same time. We got to start new traditions making cookies with the kids, reading out of Luke the birth of Christ to our children (This can be so frustrating with a two year old but very worth it). I have today as well to spend much needed time with my wife and kids. I don't know what exactly it is... maybe this is what being filled with the Holy Spirit is... and once I get used to it.. the feelings are bound to be stronger.. but I feel udder joy this year... udder peace... how fortunate and blessed I am as a father, husband, and a child of God. Coming up on 12-28-05 there is a scheduled c-section for Beth (wife of Eric and soon to be mother of a little girl named Haley ((hope I spelled that right Eric))). What a blessing that will be to them. I am so happy for both of them!!!! I have great friends who are willing to help me pick up the pieces when the fall. How blessed am I?!?! Now for 06 let me publicly say that I am blessed and I plan to pay that back to God by spreading his words and work. Know this everyone, none of these blessings would ever occur without my savior Jesus Christ who saved me from my wretched sins and continues to do so every day! Know Christ like you never knew Him before and He will bless you!
